This still life shows only three objects: a piece of bread, a pot that is sealed with paper and string and a basket of fruit. The objects in pure colours are placed on a stone plinth. The question remains as to what kind of fruit is shown piled up in the basket. The blue colour is not authentic; it was originally green and has discoloured.
