  • Bernd Seegers asked

Hello, you file this vase with maker "Anoniem" even though in your website it is related to Ingrid Fechner-Ahlers. I guess that the phenotype is very much like other products of Mrs Fechner-Ahlers. Which ascription is correct ?
    Kind regards,
    Bernd Seegers

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

Hello Bernd, Thank you for your attentiveness. The vase is signed with the name of Ingrid Fechner-Ahlers, but unfortunately the signature is with a marker instead of inscribed in the clay - which would be the common thing to do. Therefor, the attribution is not 100% sure. Still the vase is very much in line with Fechner-Ahler's other works. The registrar will change Anonymus in: Attributed to Ingrid Fechner-Ahler. Thanks again and kind regards, Els
