This drawing is part of a group of 508 drawings from the Koenigs Collection, which was sold in the fall of 1940 by D.G. van Beuningen to Dr. Hans Posse, Hitler's Sonderbeauftragter Linz. This transaction was in violation of Dutch laws and international agreements. See the publication by Albert J.
