In this beautiful drawing the composition is in perfect balance. While in the
previous study the rider and horse move through the space diagonally, here
they are depicted almost in profile like a statue. In the end the artist seems
to have chosen to have the princess run away in panic and with arms aloft
towards the right and situates her amidst the trees and rocks in the
