Study for a Standing Monk with his Forearms Extended in the Lower Half of 'The Last Judgement', from the collection of Museo di San Marco, Florence.
In this following variant the folds of the low-hanging sleeves have been
worked up, along with the head, the outstretched hands and the separated
feet. The lack of a cord around the waist means that the body’s form is
barely indicated. The sketchily drawn head is out of proportion, namely too
small.
