Study for a Standing Monk with his Forearms Extended in the Lower Half of 'The Last Judgement', from the collection of Museo di San Marco, Florence.

The first variant of the previous study was probably this one with the ‘pentimenti’ (corrections and variations). Here the artist is still searching for the most suitable positions for the head and right hand. The figure is now dressed in a loose habit – a monk’s everyday garb – with lowered hood.
