  • Rachel Hapoienu asked

Dear Rianne, Apologies for my delay in responding, I thought your answer would come to my e-mail and I have only just found it sitting on your website! That must be the correct print, thank you very much for your help. Do you happen to know if yours is a unique impression, or if there are other impressions of the print elsewhere?

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

Dear Rachel, our email probably ended up in your spam folder. Luckily you found our answer on the site! As far as we know the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam has a copy of the print. You could also have a look if the print and other impressions are mentioned in the book Hollstein's Dutch and Flemish etchings, engravings and woodcuts, ca.1450-1700. Good luck! Sarie.

  • Rachel Hapoienu asked

Hello, I am looking for the dimensions and inventory number of an engraving in your collection by Ambrosius Francken, 'The Power of Women', which does not appear to have been digitised online.

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

Hi Rachel, I think you might mean the work 'De vrouw is sterker dan de koning', L 1964/111 c (PK), measurements 1 (circa): 212 (h) x 274 mm (w); measurements 2 (circa): 237 (h) x 277 mm (w). Is this the work you are looking for? Best, Rianne
