Zuid. Boijmans Van Beuningen presents Open Call 2023
Calling all the artists and artist collectives! Zuid. Boijmans Van Beuningen offers an art commission for artists who seek new connections between art, heritage and local communities in their work.
Are you an artist or collective working in the field of social art practices connected to the local and global south? Are you ready for the next step in your career? Is collective learning, participation and the creative process central to your practice? Would you be open to involve local communities in your work? Apply for the Zuid. Boijmans Van Beuningen Open Call 2023!
Each newly commissioned artwork at Zuid. responds to the idea of collective learning, participation and social practices. Artists are invited to work with residents, children or organisations in the neighbourhood.
Part of the program is to take active part in the wide range of activities being organised by Zuid. and partner organisations. The artists are expected to present a plan for an interactive visitor program during the commission period.
