FAQ

When can I make a reservation?
Restaurant Renilde is open for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Starting September 12, 2024, Renilde opens at 5:00 PM, and you can book this special arrangement.

What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes entrance to the Depot, a 4-course dinner, and an aperitif. You can expand the dinner with a matching (small) wine pairing or non-alcoholic drinks, which are paid for separately after the meal.

What does carte blanche mean?
At restaurant Renilde, we cook with the seasons. Every day, Chef Jim de Jong and his team decide what will be served based on what the suppliers deliver that day.

Due to this changing and fresh menu, we unfortunately cannot accommodate guests who require fully sugar-, salt-, onion-, or (garlic)-free, or vegan meals for dinner. However, we do offer a fully vegetarian menu.

Where can I submit allergies and dietary preferences?
When purchasing your tickets, you can indicate any allergies or dietary preferences when filling in your details. If you forgot something or have questions, please contact us at renilde@boijmans.nl.

What can I see and do in the Depot?
Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen is the world’s first publicly accessible art depot. More than 154,000 collected artworks are stored together, arranged and structured in fourteen depot rooms with five climate zones, spread across six floors. Read more here about everything you can see and do at the Depot.

How long does a visit to the Depot usually last?
It varies per person, but on average, a visit to the Depot lasts 1.5 hours. You can also sign up for a guided tour of a depot room, which lasts 30 minutes. Reserve a spot for free at the start of your visit.

My ticket shows a time slot for my reservation at Renilde, can I go to Renilde earlier?
Absolutely! Restaurant Renilde is open all day for Depot visitors. You are welcome on the sixth floor to enjoy a drink and the view over the city of Rotterdam. The kitchen opens for dinner at 5:00 PM.

Can I change my order?
