The Revolt series represented a breakthrough in the field of design technique. The use of profiled sheet metal - instead of steel tubes - gave this modern design rigidity where necessary. This meant that less material was required and the chair was cheaper and lighter. The seat and the back are made from pressed Ciranol full-core sheets. This detachable and stackable version, with tilting seat, was not produced very much. The Revolt stayed in production for 25 years without interruption.
