This service is not the sort of standard china you would buy in a shop. The items are slightly damaged, handles are missing and one of the saucers is seriously crackled. Jurgen Bey created the set by covering various items from a china cupboard with a platinum glaze. All items (a teapot with lid, five saucers, four cups, milk jug, sugar pot, three plates and a serving dish) are different in shape, decoration and manufacturer, but, thanks to the treatment, appear as if they belong together.
