Blindfold, by the Albanian artist Anri Sala, is a video installation consisting of two screens. Both screens show two empty advertising boards, viewed from a fixed point on the street below. The projection lasts fifteen minutes, and during that time cars, buses and people pass through the picture while the sunlight is slowly reflected on the advertising boards. The reflection causes white blotches in the image. The work shows the contrast between, on the one hand, the passing of natural time and the passing of time in the rapidly moving city on the other.
