Ask anything

  • Chris Evans asked

    Where found and where made?

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

    Hi Chris,
This porringer was found in the Netherlands (see: 'Specifications: Geographical origin'). It is an old Dutch dish from which soup, porridge, or the like is eaten. It is dated around 1600-1625.
    Kind regards, Tanja
