A lansquenet regiment consisted chiefly of foot soldiers, but it would also have an artillery unit. Gun masters like this 'Jörg Püchsenmeyster' were responsible for the guns. Their specialist knowledge and skills brought them many privileges. The colouring in this sheet is exceptionally fine-there are even gold highlights in the man's clothes
