Since 1997 glass artist Bernard Heesen has worked on his ‘Encyclopaedic Creations’. He uses illustrations in old books to ‘copy’ antique decorative objects in his own expressive manner. Not all the objects were originally made from glass. This goblet is based on a silver object.
