Ask anything

  • Constantin Dragomir asked

    Good morning,
Can it be seen today 16.04.2023?
    Thank you

  • Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen answered

Dear Constantin, This drawing is stored in a box in the depot for works on paper (A3.01). Due to its vulnerability, it can be shown in an exhibition for 3 months, then it has to be in the dark again for two years. But the big Basquiat painting 'Kings of Egypt III' is in the Highlights exhibition. You will find it in room A3.08 on a glass easel which offers the opportunity to see the back with Basquiat's handwriting. Enjoy your visit! Els
