Alicia Framis (Barcelona, 1967) is a Spanish artist who alternates living and working between Spain and Amsterdam. Her work is interdisciplinary and poses sharp questions about the human condition and how we navigate the loneliness of modern urban life. Many of her projects address social tensions such as discrimination, loneliness, or gender dynamics. Her work is part of prominent collections worldwide, including in the Netherlands at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
